‘It Came From Beneath The Slush Pile’

I took part in a collection of  20 flash  (500 word or less) stories – all fatally flawed – organised by Katharina Gerlach.

These are deliberately written as examples of how NOT to put together good stories, and were a great deal of fun to write. Every story is cringeworth in some way, and a few tests the bounds of sense – and stamina!

The authors give their ‘flaws’ after each story, but not all flaws are listed. Think of it as a) a laugh and b) a test-yourself-on-bad-writing.

It is available for available for free and you can share it with as many writer friends as you like.

Download it here: InstaFreebie, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, iBooks, Kobo.

(Oh, and of course a review would be nice when you’ve finished reading!)
